The world of blockchain technology is famously dominated by young men, with interest from other demographic groups lagging behind. But as it is integrated into a growing number of different applications and platforms, there is hope that this may begin to change.
One such project hoping to broaden blockchain’s appeal and reach out to a more mainstream audience is IQeon, a decentralized PvP gaming platform. While gaming is another area often associated with young men in the popular imagination, the differences between genders is much less stark, with many women enjoying playing games.
To illustrate the point, here are some hot female celebrities and there favourite games:
Chloe Grace Moretz: This popular actress and model born in 1997 and currently exploring the launch of her own clothing line is known to love playing computer games. Her favourites are ‘Dota’, ‘CS’, ‘Battlefield’, and ‘Assassin’s Creed’.
Mila Kunis: This actress and mother of two is a big fan of ‘World of Warcraft’ and ‘Call of Duty’.
Rosario Dawson: American actress, singer, comic book writer and political activist, Rosario also finds time for old school classics ‘The Legend of Zelda’ and ‘Super Mario Bros’. She has also become a voice actress to star in the reboot of ‘The Syndicate’.
Michelle Rodriquez: The hot girlfriend of Dominic Toretto in ‘Fast and Furious’ is a big fan of ‘Call of Duty’ games.
IQeon’s appeal to gamers
IQEon’s gaming ecosystem aims to add an extra layer of excitement onto playing your favourite games by facilitating the monetization of gaming.
This will allow players to get paid for their in-game achievements. It can also enable gamers to place player-vs-player bets on the outcome of matches, and to automatically receive payouts when they win. This means that the best players can earn an additional income from their gaming, while also adding extra excitement for everyone.
These advantages may draw more people in to use cryptocurrency who otherwise would not have been interested in it.
At the moment IQeon is conducting an ‘Initial Coin Offering’ or ICO to sell its IQN tokens.
IQN tokens can be purchased using either BTC or ETH, and as of the time of writing this article the sale is in its 4th week, meaning there is a 10% bonus for investors buying now.
For more information about the IQeon platform and also its ICO token sale you can visit the official IQeon website.
